The APU window reveal bead with mesh STANDARD is used in external thermal insulation composite systems according to the APU application range. The profile is glued in the reveal flush to the existing building component and thus forms a clean and secure plaster connection.
The profile is equipped with a self-adhesive PE foam tape that ensures a driving rain-proof and permanent seal. Depending on the version, the profile is available without protective lip (W23) or with protective lip (W23-plus). A fabric strip is welded to the profile. Each bar has a one-sided fabric overhang of 10 cm in the longitudinal direction. The protective flap is equipped with a self-adhesive tape to attach the protective film to be applied on site. This protects the window during the plastering work. The protective flap is removed after completion of the work and a clean plaster edge is created.
